Pandora Archaeological Association was founded in 1990 by a group of enthusiasts and scholars of archaeology and history of the territory. By decree of the President of the Emilia-Romagna Regional Council n. 914 of 03/10/1994 gets the registration in the Regional Register of Emilia Romagna at n. 870.Since April 1999, following a specific agreement with the Municipality of Pianello V.T. manages the Archaeological Museum of Valtidone located in the basement of the Municipal Fortress, renovated by the Municipal Administration.
| The Association aims to identify, ascertain, protect and enhance the cultural, archaeological and historical heritage of the territory of Val Tidone. The Association collaborates voluntarily and free of charge with the competent national, regional, provincial and municipal bodies and with the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the provinces of Parma and Piacenza, and other bodies and associations with similar or compatible aims. The Association is apolitical and non-partisan and operates on a non-profit basis. The activities are mainly carried out through the services provided by its members. All members are volunteering for free.
